    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Scottish Government has announced the latest round of the Community Choices Fund, giving community organisations and community councils an opportunity to run their own participatory budgeting (PB) events.

    Summary

The aim of the Community Choices Fund is to support participatory budgeting (PB) activity which will significantly expand opportunities for more local people to make decisions on local spending priorities. To continue to support the growth of PB in Scotland, £750,000 of the Community Choices Fund is available for applications from community organisations and community councils in 2018/19. The fund is not open for applications from public authorities as continued practical support will be provided for mainstream PB activity.
