Markinch After School Kids are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated enthusiastic Assistant Manager with minimum level 4 childcare qualification and experience within a childcare setting. The successful applicant must be willing to undertake CPD in relation to this post. You will assist the Manager in the day to day running of the club, this role is diverse from supervising staff, administration tasks to interacting with the children through play activities to promote a positive safe environment for children between the ages of 4 and 12.
The post is regulated work with children and is subject to the provisions of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act 2007. The successful applicant must be or agree to become a member of the PVG scheme. In addition they will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council and meet any requirements for continued registration.
The successful candidate will be required to work 25 hours minimum a week. Additional hours will be available during holiday periods; therefore a degree of flexibility will be required.
