OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Established over 80 years ago, Youth 1st is the leading support agency for youth organisations, youth groups, youth workers, volunteers and young people in Fife. They provide services which increase the effectiveness and capacity of their members, who engage with young people in the youth work sector. They support and empower, leading to strong and resilient community-based youth work, which in turn improves the life experiences and opportunities of young people. Youth 1st are looking for new Trustees to join their lively and engaged Board of Trustees. You will want to make a difference to local communities in Fife and will like working as part of a team and enjoy making things happen. You will be a clear thinker, an active listener, a good communicator and are not afraid to speak your mind. You are responsible and committed and have time to give. They will offer support and training where needed to help you quickly find your way around the role. Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Training provided: Each Trustee receives an induction pack and meeting. Relevant training for Charity Trustees via FVA and OSCR will be offered, as well as places on their Youth Work training programme. Experience required: They are looking for individuals with Finance, Marketing or Governance experience and come from the voluntary, the commercial or the public sector.
