Fife Young Carers is a growing organisation that works with young and young adult carers throughout Fife. We have just received a Fife Civic Recognition Award which recognised the incredible work we did to support young carers in Fife during lockdown and beyond. Our Board would like to attract people who can offer their time and skills to join them as Trustees. The role will provide advice and assistance in the important service of providing support to young carers. We are seeking individuals with a wide variety of skills and expertise; these include but are not limited to anyone with the following skills: -Communications -Fundraising capabilities -Social media -Legal Expertise's
Induction and training will be provided, along with ongoing support.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Trustee training is also available from FVA.
An interest in young/young adult carers. Specific skills that would be helpful but not essential: communications; fundraising; social media; financial/treasurer. A willingness to give back and shape the direction of a developing organisation.

Board meetings held approx. every 8 weeks for 2 hrs at our office premises which are located at Ore Valley
Business Centre, 93 Main Street, Lochgelly KY5 9AF and Board Members can be reimbursed for their travel. Board
Members will have the opportunity to attend meetings online, if unable to attend in person.
