CLEAR stands for Community-Led Environmental Action for Regeneration, a small charity established since 2012 to help regenerate the neglected communities of Buckhaven and Methil. They carry out a wide range of actions including extensive planting (trees, bulbs), run community gardens, a community workshop (wood, bike) and kitchen as well as community placemaking (installing art, heritage, benches etc). They are action-oriented and rely on volunteers of all kinds to carry out the work supervised by a small staff team. They are looking for motivated people from the Levenmouth area who share their vision of improving the local area. Board Members are expected to participate in bimonthly meetings (held the 3rd Tuesday evening of every second month) and can also join in other activities to shape their plans and participate in their action more frequently if interested. The would love to hear from professional, experienced and/or skilled individuals in any relevant file, ideally from the wider Levenmouth area, who might join the current dedicated group to share their expertise and commitment.

Director, Trustee, Board/Committee member or Governor?!
Organisations have different names for the volunteers who are responsible for the running of the organisation - some are called Board members, some are Committee members, some may use the word Director for example. Broadly speaking, they mean the same thing - the people at the top who are ultimately responsible! These are important roles (for which training and support is available) and without volunteers at board level voluntary sector organisations could not exist.
