About this opportunity: | The foodbank was set up in 2013 by local churches in response to local needs as part of the Trussell Trust. A Christian ethos is central to the work of the project. Current operations include: foodbank, cafe, school work. trustees are collectively responsible for makeing sure that the charity is run properly and lawfully to make sure legal duties are met under charity law and other relevant laws. They protect the charities beneficiaries, assets and reputation, make sure the charity fulfils its charitable purpose, consider what is done well and what could be done better, take part in regular meetings, review partnerships, profile, policy and procedures, planning and evaluation |

Training provided: | Induction will include information about the foodbank, the procedures and the expectations. Ongoing training will be offered through FVA training courses, development days and support is offered at team meetings. |
Experience required: | Good business experience with a particular interest in HR/Managing people and Funding. Must be aware of Charity Trustee legal duties and responsibilities. Excellent communication, intrapersonal and writing skills with good teamwork and problem solving abilities |
