Committee meetings will take place mainly at the organisation's premises in Kirkcaldy. There may be occasions when the members will be asked to represent the organisation at other events, which may take place across Fife and further afield. Director, Trustee, Board/Committee member or Governor?!
Organisations have different names for the volunteers who are responsible for the running of the organisation - some are called Board members, some are Committee members, some may use the word Director for example. Broadly speaking, they mean the same thing - the people at the top who are ultimately responsible! These are important roles (for which training and support is available) and without volunteers at board level voluntary sector organisations could not exist.
