OpportunityAbout this opportunity: An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in financial data and record keeping.
The role of treasurer is to ensure Dunfermline Art Club charity finances are managed appropriately to ensure legal compliance. To hold this role the individual would become a member of the club and attend committee meetings to report on club finances.
The club uses Xero Accounting System to reconcile transactions and produce reports. Excel spreadsheets are also used weekly to record sales and other items. Sum up system is used in the gallery to take customer payments.
This role can be largely done from home (if the volunteer has access to a computer and the internet at home) and full training will be provided. Alternatively a computer is accessible in the studio in Townhill Community Centre.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays 
Fridays Saturdays Sundays Training provided: Outgoing treasurer will provide training and support. Ongoing support from committee and external training if required. Experience required: A positive attitude and aptitude for finance and reconciliation of accounts. An inquiring mind to interrogate figures and produce analysis and recommendations.
