YMCA Glenrothes is a leading community and homeless organisation dedicated to providing essential services, advocacy, and support to those in need.
The organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Board and take on the role of Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparing and presenting budgets, accounts and financial statements in collaboration with the Financial Officer.
- Helping prepare and present financial reports to the Committee, ensuring that appropriate and effective financial measures, controls and procedures are in place.
- Reviewing annual accounts.
- Ensuring accounts and financial systems are audited as required by law.
- Liaising with auditors/independent examiners.
- Monitoring and advising on the charity's financial viability.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays 
Fridays Saturdays Sundays Training provided: Support will be provided for all volunteers and training offered depending on each individuals’ skills/needs. Experience required: Experience in financial management or accounting. Restrictions on who can volunteer
