    About this opportunity:Live in Burntisland? Want to make a difference?
    The Burntisland Community Development Trust are looking for trustees
    At its heart, community development is rooted in the belief that all people should
    have access to health, wellbeing, wealth, justice and opportunity. The Trust works
    with people in the community who want to take action on things that are important
    to them.
    After a period of change the Trust require trustees with time to take
    action to help the Trust survive and thrive. It's an exciting time to join the Trust.
    As a trustee, you will help with governance and strategy and connect within the
    community so that the trusts new direction and plan for the
    future can be decided together. The trust aim to serve the needs of everyone in Burntisland.
    Some projects:
    Burntisland Community Suppers (formerly Supper at the Sally)
    Improving our environment through encouraging biodiversity

    Takes place:
    morningsafternoonsevenings
    Mondays
    Tuesdays
    Wednesdays
    Thursdays
    Fridays
    Saturdays
    Sundays

    Training provided:Appropriate training will be provided by Fife Voluntary Action, Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS) and other organisations. One existing trustee will be the named contact for the new trustee to support induction and ongoing engagement.
    Experience required:Skills and experience in bookkeeping, charity governance, financial management and social media are desirable but not essential. Good communication skills, open minded, a willingness to learn with the ability to inspire others to take action on projects to help the community

Director, Trustee, Board/Committee member or Governor?!
