    About this opportunity:Include Me is a small charity established in 2008 to recruit, train, match and support local volunteers to become Citizen Advocates for adults aged 16-65 living in North East Fife who are vulnerable, isolated and at risk of being excluded from their communities. They want to recruit a new committee member with particular skills and/or experience of identifying grant opportunities and fundraising. This individual would identify appropriate funding streams to support current work and new activities and would work with staff and other committee members to prepare and submit bids. They would also assist the Treasurer in preparing grant applications to current funders as well as taking part in the other aspects of management committee work.

    Training provided:Induction will involve spending time with other committee members and staff to learn about the organisation. Volunteers will be required to complete an online Adult Protection module as well as FVA Trustee training. Ongoing peer support is available.
    Experience required:Experience of fundraising and grant applications. All other skills and experience are welcome, and particularly appreciated would be knowledge of the Voluntary Sector and some previous experience of committee work. You should be able to attend a six-weekly meeting, contribute to discussion and follow up on tasks. A commitment to justice, human rights and equality is important.

    Restrictions on who can volunteer
    OSCR states 18 as minimum age for charity trustees

    Travel DetailsCommittee meetings are held six weekly in either Cupar or St Andrews. Out of pocket travel expenses will be paid.
