    About this opportunity:Fife Historic Buildings Trust inspires and enables visionary conservation projects across Fife. The Trust manages projects to conserve historic buildings at risk across Fife, shares conservation practices and skills through its education and engagement programme and helps communities to appreciate their local heritage. They are currently looking for new trustees to join their board. As a board member you will attend board meetings and make decisions on behalf of the charity. Previous board experience is not necessary and the Trust welcomes applications from all backgrounds as the Trust wants the board to be representative of the beneficiaries that it serves. If you have a passion for conserving the historic buildings of Fife for future generations this may be the ideal role for you.

    Training provided:An induction will be provided for the role and will cover the work of FHBT. Formal governance training and annual board development training will also be provided.
    Experience required:Knowledge or experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but are not essential * Enterprise / business planning, learning and education -Equality & inclusion -Fundraising -IT & Cyber security -Legal, marketing & communications -Natural heritage -Organisational development -Property management, sustainability & climate action
