Last updated: 18/12/2025 (more than 6 months ago)The Tayside and Fife Archaeological Committee is a liaison group which aims to promote archaeology in Tayside (Perth and Kinross, Angus and Dundee) and Fife.
TAFAC brings together individuals and organisations sharing a common interest in promoting and protecting the archaeology of the area. This covers all periods: prehistory, the Picts, the Romans, the Medieval period and the modern period up to the 20th century. TAFAC holds meetings three times a year at various venues throughout Tayside and Fife. They also hold an annual conference - videos on their web page.
Membership of the Committee is by invitation, but anyone who feels that they have a contribution to make can put their name forward for consideration.
