The court support and advocacy worker provides emotional and practical support for women who are going through court proceedings. The advocacy worker has regular contact with women in the lead up to a court case and provides them with information about court procedures. The worker will accompany women to the trial and will also support them to understand decisions taken by the court. This enables women to participate more fully in the process.
