Kirkcaldy & Dysart YMCA AFC (Kirkcaldy & Dysart YMCA A.F.C.) Service
Provided by Kirkcaldy Community Football Partnership SCIO
Last updated: 11/06/2026 (more than 3 months ago)Kirkcaldy Community Football Partnership continues to grow, marked by the addition of a new team competing in the Fife Amateur League and further strengthening the pathway from grassroots football to the senior side. The Kirkcaldy & Dysart Under-20s team reached a natural conclusion as most players hit the upper age limit. While several players moved on, the squad also achieved notable success, with Ramsay Sigdel securing a professional contract with the senior team. After progressing together through the youth levels, the team’s management chose to pursue a new challenge by applying to join the Fife Amateur League for the 2025–2026 season. This transition to adult amateur football represents a significant step for the young squad. During this period, discussions were also held with local amateur club Kirkcaldy YMCA, who had withdrawn from the league but were keen to return. These discussions resulted in an agreement to merge, forming Kirkcaldy & Dysart YMCA A.F.C. The new club will compete in the Fife Amateur League while remaining part of the Kirkcaldy Community Football Partnership. This collaboration ensures a continued, structured progression route for players advancing from under-20 level into adult football, maintaining strong links to the senior team. The newly formed side will play home fixtures at Denfield Park (Pitch 2), with matches primarily scheduled for Saturday afternoons.
