St Monans Art Festival Service
See the organisation and everything else it runs »
Last updated: 10/04/2026 (more than 6 months ago)Annual community arts festival for all ages featuring workshops, exhibitions and other creative activities. Experience music, performance, dance, photography, theatre, poetry, visual arts, arts and crafts. This year's dates - September 5th and 6th, 2026. Being a community arts festival, local people are encouraged to participate. The festival actively seeks participation by local artists, crafters and performers; those who do not exhibit themselves may make their houses available to artists; and the festival has tremendous support from local bakers and volunteers in the festival cafe and helpers with events.
The Open Houses and exhibitions in the Church Hall and Town Hall reflect the emphasis on community participation from St Monans and the East Neuk, but there are also participants from further afield, including for example, guest artists delivering workshops.
