East Neuk Lobster Hatchery Service
See the organisation and everything else it runs »
Last updated: 20/05/2026 (more than 3 months ago)The charity is dedicated to marine conservation through the creation of a lobster hatchery in the East Neuk of Fife. They aim to boost local lobster populations by raising lobster larvae in a safe, controlled environment and releasing as many healthy juveniles as possible back into the wild. This helps sustain the marine ecosystem and supports the long-term viability of local fisheries. They work closely with fishermen, volunteers, and the community to collect berried hens, educate the public, and promote stewardship of our coastal waters.
