  • The Franco-Scottish Society, St Andrews Branch - St Andrews Service

Provided by Franco-Scottish Society Of Scotland

Last updated: 03/12/2025 (more than 6 months ago)

From the outset the Society aimed to foster contacts between the French and the Scots and to develop their traditional friendship in the spirit of the Auld Alliance, an alliance formed in 1295. Through educational, cultural and social activities, the Society continues to pursue these objectives today, believing that the development of Franco-Scottish relations in a globalised world are as important as they have ever been.
