Provided by Deaf Action
Last updated: 15/09/2026 (more than 1 month ago)Deaf Action know how lonely it can feel at any age which is why they have a Befriending Service to allow deaf and hard of hearing people to meet people anywhere in Scotland. If you or someone you know could do with a friendly face to chat to, their befriending service can help you meet people with similar interests and communication preferences for conversation and companionship.
Deaf BSL users, deafened, deafblind, and hard of hearing adults (18 and over) are all welcome to use their befriending service to meet new people. This service is available in English or BSL, so no matter what language you use, they’ll connect you to the right people.
