Last updated: 23/07/2026 (more than 1 month ago)Dunfermline Sound Talking Newspaper, with items from the Dunfermline Press and the Central Fife Times, is recorded onto Memory Sticks for the benefit of the blind and partially sighted.
Back in 1976 Dunfermline Sound started recording on reel to reel tape and then cassette tape up until 2008 when we changed over to CDs. Later they started recording to Memory Sticks as well but in March 2023 they moved from Abbeyview to new premises in the Dunfermline Business Centre. As they don't have as much space as before and most of our listeners were already using Memory Sticks, the production of CDs was stopped.
