Last updated: 19/12/2025 (more than 6 months ago)Urban Target believe there should be no barriers to engagement, no limits applied to any young persons potential, and that everyone should have ownership in shaping their own provision. They have found that a grass roots, needs led approach is a great way to work with marginalised and disenfranchised young people. Their purpose is to give all young people a platform to make positive changes in their own lives and their wider community. They aim to give them the building blocks needed to become productive members of society. By increasing their self-resilience and confidence, they can establish social mobility in some of the most excluded young people, bringing them back from the fringes of society. They aim to provide an environment that they not only feel safe in but have ownership over. This contributes towards the building of strong relationships with the young people, which enables us to support them in making positive lifestyle choices.
