    Aims and objectivesA Veteran's Best Friend is a Scottish Charity dedicated to supporting veterans. They provide financial support to help train and partner rescue dogs (veterans' pet dogs can be considered too) with armed forces veterans to assist them with mental health needs. They will signpost our service users to Oliver's Army for the dog training. Oliver's Army will take full control of the dog training; A Veteran's Best Friend will support financially where they can and provide emotional support. They hope that these dogs will provide companionship and therapeutic support. Their humans provide emotional and practical support to our service users and their families
