    Aims and objectivesWe offer holidays to retired miners, including their spouse and families, it is full bed & board with 4 meals a day. With trips in our mini bus or a hired coach to offer days out, we also have entertainment in the building from gentle exercise and general activities to combat social isolation in the elderly residents that come to stay, which we would like to take further, and we also have raffles and a bric-a-brac charity shop for anyone visiting. We also have an entertainer every evening to offer the residents some dancing and music if they are able.
