    Aims and objectivesA community-led, membership SCIO based in Anstruther, whose vision is to build a thriving and resilient community, improving Anstruther for all. The AIA provides a range of cultural, social, educational, fundraising and intergenerational events and activities, manages some of the town''s floral displays and the blue plaques, gives out small grants and owns and operates Dreel Halls, the only community space in Anstruther Wester. There are around 100 ordinary and associate members and a committee of Trustees. The AIA''s constitution lays out the Charitable Purposes as: To benefit the communities of and visitors to the former Burghs of Anstruther Easter, Anstruther Wester and Kilrenny ( he Area by: · €¯ €¯ €¯ rotecting, managing and developing community buildings in the Area; · €¯ €¯ €¯â€¯advancing heritage, culture and the environment of the Area; ·       advancing community development in the Area through educational and social events; and ·       promoting the effectiveness and/or efficiency of other charities working inter alia within the Area in furtherance of these Charitable Purposes.
