    Aims and objectivesOur new patient tutor programme at University of St Andrews School of Medicine is an innovative development which we hope will provide an invaluable learning experience for our medical students. Our intention is to encourage our students to understand more about patientsé experience of illness and healthcare by spending some time talking to volunteer patients.
