Created/last updated: 08/02/2023Aims and objectives We work with young people who have a variety of difficulties which manifest themselves in difficult behaviour in mainstream school. We find that they respond to this type of environment and we tend to see none of their difficult behaviour. The volunteers we would like to see here really fall into two categories; firstly, the volunteer who could pass on skills ie baking, craft work or skills which would appeal to teenage boys, perhaps simple mechanics or the like. Secondly, the type of volunteer who would be happy to work beside teachers helping the children with their work, more of a learning assistant. Having said all that, if anybody is interested in the welfare of young people, then we would be happy to have them visit.
