    Aims and objectivesWe are a registered charity providing very sheltered housing for people over the age of 55. Our house in Dunfermline takes 7 residents. Each has their own bed-sitting room which they can furnish themsleves. All meals, laundry and cleaning are provided. Meals are taken in the communal dining room which is a large pleasant room, comfortably furnished. Activities are organised and residents can join in - or not, as they wish. There is a large enclosed, secluded garden which is well kept. More details on our website www.allisterhouse.org The rent varies according to the size of room and it includes all services provided and council tax. We don't provide any personal care and no staff sleep in the property overnight. We are not a care home.
