    SDS Options Fife is an independent SDS support project, funded by Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and Support in the right direction (SIRD) to provide information and support to individuals in Fie who are considering using SDS option 1 (Direct Payments). The staff support, guide and advocate for you to get the most out of your award and the process. The team can guide you with the following: Deciding which of the 4 SDS options best meet your needs and outcomes. Knowing your rights. Managing your direct payment if you choose option 1. Writing job descriptions and creating adverts. Assisting with advertising for and recruiting your Personal Assistant. Preparing a contract of employment for your Personal Assistant. Choosing a payroll provider to manage your Direct Payment. Employment law. Signposting you to resources within the community. Advocating on your behalf before, during and after assessments. Advocating and support through the complaint procedure.
