Friends Of Gordon Cottage Child Development Centre Organisation
Last updated: 12/02/2026 (more than 6 months ago)Gordon Cottage is one of four Child Development Centres in Fife. Based in Kelty, they support children from Kelty, Cowdenbeath, Hill of Beath, Crossgates, Lochgelly, Ballingry, Dalgety Bay, Inverkeithing, Rosyth and North Queensferry. The service is provided by NHS Fife for pre-school children with additional support needs. The team is made up of 2 Nurses with expertise in working with children and 3 Nursery Nurses. A wide range of professionals also input to the centre regularly including Medical Staff, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Child Development Psychologists and Sensory Impairment Teachers. They also have close links with local Health Visitors and Nurseries, the Pre-school Home Visiting Service and Social Work Departments.
