Last updated: 05/02/2026 (more than 6 months ago)Gordon Moody is a UK charity specialising in residential treatment and support for people experiencing gambling harm. The organisation is currently delivering pilot residential rehabilitation and counselling programmes in Scotland and is inviting organisations to make referrals. The free treatment programme supports men and women affected by gambling harm and is delivered in small groups of up to 12 participants. The programme includes two residential retreats at Netherurd House which is located around 30 minutes south of Edinburgh. Between the two retreats participants receive four weeks of online support alongside lived experience groups peer support and art therapy.
The pilot programmes will run between February and April 2026 and aim to demonstrate the need for residential gambling harm treatment services in Scotland to help inform future provision.
