  • Self-Directed Support Service

Provided by PAMIS; Promoting a More Inclusive Society

Last updated: 03/06/2026 (more than 3 months ago)

Self-directed Support (SDS) is a new approach to accessing and delivering community care, in Scotland. This means that people now have more flexibility, choice and control around their care. Local authorities must offer options to those in need of care and support. For example, managing payments for employed carers may be seen as a daunting task, but we offer training and support to help navigate these aspects.
