    Children and young people with the support and supervision of a group leader and trained volunteers engage in a range of activities where they are encouraged, supported and nurtured to express themselves appropriately through a range of mediums including art, discussion and purposeful activities. Groups meet on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays during term-time and also for specific projects during the school summer break. The work they do is conducted in small groups each comprising of no more than 8 members. The membership of each is based on age. Group evenings provide opportunities for fun, creativity as well as learning and development. Their volunteers and staff are there to ensure that all group members receive support and encouragement to help build confidence, reflect on behaviours and consequences and develop coping skills that can assist social and emotional development.
