Fife Carers Emergency Card Service

Last updated: 25/05/2026 (more than 3 months ago)Fife Carers Emergency Card identifies you as an unpaid or family carer and means that if something unforeseen should happen to you that leaves you unable to be there for the person you care for your emergency plan can be put into operation and the person you care for be looked after. In addition to the red carers card you will also be sent a green card that can be carried by the person you care for, so that if something unforeseen should happen to them when you are not present you can be contacted. There is no charge for the service. To submit your emergency plan and apply for free Fife Carers Emergency Cards all you need to do is call Fife Carers Centre to request an application form or you can download and print one off from our website.
