Summary:
Requested by the Vietnamese Association of Central Florida. A Proclamation recognizing that the City of Orlando formally recognizes the Vietnamese Heritage and Freedom Flag as the official symbol of the Orlando Vietnamese-American community and supports the efforts of the Ft. Worth Vietnamese-American community to promote freedom and democracy.

Proclaiming March 22, 2004, as Vietnamese-American Heritage & Freedom Flag Day in the City of Orlando. Mayor Dyer read a Proclamation requested by the Vietnamese Association of Central Florida. The Proclamation recognized that the City of Orlando formally recognizes the Vietnamese Heritage and Freedom Flag as the official symbol of the Orlando Vietnamese-American community and supports the efforts of the Ft. Worth Vietnamese-American community to promote freedom and democracy.
