To overseas Vietnamese:

Vietnam is poor and backward. We Vietnamese must bear the responsibility to change this. The Free Vietnam Alliance urges overseas Vietnamese to:

1. Share the suffering born by our compatriots, and fight for freedom and democracy for our people.

2. Take part in bringing news into Vietnam through mail, personal contacts, visits, etc. so that people at home stay informed of events taking in the outside world, such as the demise of Communism, and explain that a life of happiness and prosperity is the fruit of liberty and democracy.

3. Support the appeal to the world by the Free Vietnam Alliance and other democratic forces to pressure the Party leadership into accepting the fundamental changes needed for peace and stability.
