  • The Naturesave Trust

    Created: 5/2/2024

The Naturesave Trust was set up to promote the adoption of sustainable development. It obtains 100% of its funding from the premiums generated by Naturesave Insurance.

The May - June funding window theme is soil health which aims to stop further soil degradation and keep carbon in soil. They are looking for grant applications from groups who are working to promote a more sustainable approach to soil and land management through:

    • Regenerative agriculture
    • Water flow control
    • Grazing management
    • Soil health monitoring
    • Pesticide alternatives
    • Tree planting
    • Reduction of soil compaction
    • Crop rotations
    • Education/workshops/events on soil health

    Fund award sizes

    Minimum: £500

    Maximum: £5,000

    Annually awarded: £22,270

    Who can apply

The Naturesave Trust will consider applications for specific projects from charities, companies or organisations whose activities are based within the UK.

    Exclusions

The Trust does not fund research projects or staff costs. It prefers to provide start-up capital to small projects to get them going, rather than to contribute to the general administration costs of a larger charity or company.

    How to apply

The application form and guidance can be found on the Trust's website.

The closing date for applications is 11.59am on Thursday 27 June 2024.
