How are YOU celebrating Volunteers’ Week? Tell us so we can tell everyone else!
Created: 4/26/2018The theme for this year’s event is ‘Volunteering for All’ and as always, it runs from 01-07 June.
Volunteers’ Week is a great chance to tell your own volunteers how much you appreciate and value them, as well as highlighting the important role that volunteering plays in our communities. Whilst we hope that this message is out there all year, Volunteers’ Week should be seen for the special occasion that it is, with time taken to acknowledge the volunteers in our own organisations, groups and communities.
Here at FVA, we are putting the finishing touches to our plans – to be revealed soon! - and during the week itself, we want to help celebrate and promote the great work that volunteers do. We shall be on social media before and during Volunteers’ Week, so the sooner you let us know what your organisation is planning, the better!
If you are planning any activities that require a bit of notice, such as a recruitment fair or volunteer training, then let us have the details right away and we’ll make sure they go on our website and into our bulletins (we’ll have a special Volunteering in Fife e-bulletin coming out, so we definitely want to hear from you with any volunteer stories, one-off events, examples of how volunteering has been/can be ‘for all’ and of course any changes to your volunteering opportunities.
